SOME OF THE TASKS WE WILL Undertake DURING 2006/2007/2008

1. SIGHT FIRST-We continue to collect unwanted spectacles with the co-operation of local OPTICIANS. To date a total of 9,000 unused pairs of spectacles have been collected from Chorley residents. The project is ongoing although the volume of spectacles have reduced. These spectacles are delivered to the Lions Club in Chichester. They clean and grade them and offer them to Aid Agencies who send them to the Third World.

2. JUNE 2005 We held our Annual Children's outing, this is a Lions Club Zone event and Lions clubs from the North West also take part.
