Learn to Ride 16+
Buckshaw Primary School 30.03.19 09:30-10:45
This is a session for adults who have never learned to ride on 2 wheels. Cycling is a healthy, low impact activity that can be enjoyed by people of any age. We use the safe, private environment of the school playground, and work in small groups to enable trainees to develop at their own pace. Our instructors are patient, enthusiastic, and supportive, and have taught many, many non-riders from pre-schoolers to folk in their 70s how to get pedalling and enjoy life on 2 wheels. Participants should bring their own bike and helmet, dress for the weather (gloves recommended), and bring a drink. We do have a small number of bikes and helmets that can be borrowed, please message at the time of booking to reserve one. This session is funded by Lancashire County Council Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the start time to ensure a prompt start.
