Asylum and Immigration
If you are an asylum seeker, a refugee or are appealing against an unsuccessful asylum claim, you may be entitled to housing and support.
Asylum seekers who made a claim for asylum after April 2, 2000, are not eligible for housing assistance as most are entitled to help from the National Asylum Support Service(NASS).
However, some asylum seekers who claimed asylum before 3rd April 2000 may be eligible. For more information on help available, please contact the Council on 01257 515151 or email us.
