Learner Support Funds can be used to help students aged 16 and over with the costs they may have when taking further education courses. These costs can include books and equipment, visits or field trips and emergencies affecting their living, learning or personal costs.

The funds are available for those with the greatest need of help and can be found by contacting your Student Support Officer at your College or School Sixth Form.

Colleges would normally give priority to students with disabilities and/or learning difficulties, those leaving care, probationers and students reaching 19 and losing benefits during their courses.

Contact your College or School Sixth Form for more information.
