Festive shopping in Chorley
SHOPPING in Chorley has never been better in the run up to Christmas.
Extra markets days on the newly refurbished Covered Market are being held and there is free parking after 4pm every day of the week, and all day Sunday.
Councillor Peter Malpas, Chorley Council's Executive Member (Business) said: "There is so much going on in Chorley for the festive season, including free face painting on the Covered Market on Saturday, December 19 and Tuesday, December 22.
"And there is the added bonus of free parking after 4pm daily on the town centre car parks.
"The Covered Market will be open every day during Christmas week and the Tuesday Flat Iron will be open as usual.
"The extra days the Covered Market is open are Monday and Wednesday, December 21 and 23.
"However, the markets will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day."
