Grants and funding

There is financial help available for people, properties, organisations and groups or teams.

Chorley Council doesn't provide all of them, but where we don't, we have tried to point you in the right direction for more information.

The Council operates the Chorley4Funding database, providing direct access to any funding or grant available.

It is split into different categories:

Funding Central

This is a new database containing over 4,000 grants, contracts and loans. It's free to use and funded by the Cabinet Office (Office of the Third Sector). Click here to view their website.

Climate Change Grants for Local Businesses

We have launched climate change grants to help your local business 'go green'. pdf icon Click here for full details and the application form. 

Finance for Business is also a great source of match funding for businesses looking to use this scheme.

Energy Saving Grants 

If you're considering making improvements to your home, there are a range of grants and offers available to help you implement energy saving measures in your home from the Energy Saving Trust. Click here for more information or to search for grants on their site.

Education Grants
