Leisure and culture
Healthy and happy communities are among our top priorities.
We're working hard with other organisations in the borough to provide options, choice and a wide range of activities to keep you busy in your spare time.
Our popular Get Up and Go! activity programme runs throughout the year while Astley Hall hosts a variety of exhibitions through the summer months.
From this page you can access information on local sports clubs and fitness centres as well as learning about Chorley's history and heritage.
How can I get involved in sport?
- Rise to the challenge and do the Mile! Join the Sport Relief Chorley Mile in Astley Park on Sunday, March 21, from 10.30am. Enter here.
There are also lots of other opportunities to get involved in sporting activities with a directory of local clubs and the chance to volunteer and gain valuable experience. You can also get involved with coaching or just take things at your own pace in one of Chorley's leisure centres.
History and Heritage
This is one of the town's most treasured assets and we have just launched a heritage trail that you can follow in your own time.
