Public question time

As part of our commitment to openness and improving the level of public participation in local government you can ask questions, and/or speak at most of our public meetings.

You may ask questions on issues to be considered at meetings of the Full Council, Executive Cabinet, and the Overview and Scrutiny Committee and each of its task groups set up to examine specific topics.

If you have any queries or wish to speak at any of the meetings please contact us by email to democratic.services@chorley.gov.uk

In addition, you may attend Planning Committee meetings to speak either for or against development proposals and at Licensing and Public Safety Committee.

For further details please view information on the constitution of the council. Select the most recent constitution, then select standing orders.
