Our community has been through a huge period of disruption over the last few years, with the ongoing impact of the Cost-of-Living Crisis impacting those who live, work, and do business across Chorley. It's vital that we continue to respond to these challenges by making sure that the right services and support measures are in place to help protect our borough. 

We are committed to continuing to be an ambitious and efficient council to tackle the funding challenges that we face and have a successful track record of generating savings by doing things differently. 

Our main priorities for the year ahead are:

We have continued to deliver over and above what would usually be expected of a local authority with the aim of addressing the impact of the cost-of-living crisis and making Chorley a great place to live.
