Our community centres serve as as the heart and soul of our community, bringing people together and creating a sense of belonging. With a variety of services and facilities our community centres cater to the diverse needs and interests of individuals of all ages.
There are 6 council managed community centres in the Chorley area to hire.

Book a community centre
A minimum of 4 weeks' notice is required to book a community centre.
Booking enquiries are made via our online community centre booking enquiry form.
Once your enquiry has been completed, we will contact you to discuss the finer details of your request within 5 working days.

When booking a community centre, you may need to provide the following documentation:
- public liability insurance (for the period of hire)
- risk assessment - there is a risk assessment template available on the Health and Safety Executive website
- safeguarding policy or current Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) information
- electric PAT test certificates
- activities disclosure form (PDF) [119KB] for parties and celebration events
- Temporary Event Notice
- alcohol licensing information.
We will discuss this with you and determine what documents are required when we contact you about your booking.

Pay for community centre hire
The quickest and easiest way to pay for community centre hire is online using our online payments system.
You can also pay using our automated payments line by calling 01257 515151.
For party events, we always advise paying by debit or credit card, as this makes return of party bonds much quicker (within 5 - 10 working days after the event).
Other payment methods, such as direct bank transfers will take longer to process and additional information is required from yourself.
