View a planning application

The easiest way to view a planning application is through planning online, our database for planning applications. 

You can view a planning application and associated documents without an account.

Comment on a planning application

To submit a comment on a planning application online, you must register an account with planning online.

Registering lets you track the progress of an application and receive email notifications when the decision is made. By law all comments received must be open for the public to see, and so comments will be available for the public to view. 

We cannot accept comments verbally, whether over the phone or in person.

To comment on an application, firstly view it using the reference number or address, then go to the comments tab and login to make a comment.

Track a planning application

If you wish to be informed when an application is updated online you can 'track' it. When you have selected an application select the 'Track' button in the top right-hand corner and then register to receive updates.
