Statement of accounts
We are required to produce and publish the Statement of Accounts each year. The Statement of Accounts gives information about our finances, where we get our money from and where we spend it.
Medium Term Financial Strategy
The Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) aims to put finance into its corporate context. Not all matters can be covered in detail, but it is intended to give a flavour of how finance influences the way Chorley Borough Council operates and is governed.
Council spending and payments to suppliers
As a publicly funded organisation, we are committed to being as open and transparent as possible on how we are spending taxpayer's money. We are required by the Local Government Transparency Code 2014 to publish detailed information about our spending in some areas including information about all payments we make to external providers over £250.
Contracts Transparency Register
We will publish a transparency register here on a quarterly basis in line with the Local Government Transparency Code.
Credit card spending
As a publicly funded organisation, we are committed to being as open and transparent as possible on how we are spending taxpayer's money. We have made the decision to publish all credit card payments. Spending data will be published on a quarterly basis.
Public contracts regulations
Under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (Regulation 113) we are required to publish performance data at the end of each financial year starting with 2015/16.
Pay policy
We are required to produce a pay policy statement for each financial year.
Organisation Structure and Senior Salaries
Under the government's greater drive for transparency, councils are expected to publish data on senior employees.
